The Trans America Trail 2007.
Colorado I've done it! And I'm now back at work.........yippee I've took over a thousand pictures in the 5 weeks I was in North America. I've included some here at photos. The Trans America Trail (TAT) is an off road, cross USA route, taking in some off the USA's most spectacular scenery. It has been the passion of retired pharmacist, Sam Correro, for many years, to create a route that takes the adventurous rider from coast to coast. And after over 8 years of planning he has developed the Trans America Trail. The TAT follows dirt, gravel, jeep, forest and farm roads, dried-up river beds and abandoned railroads for 4,800 miles from Jellico, Tennessee in the East to the Pacific Ocean at Port Oreford, Oregon. On the 24th of May 2007 year, I flew my bike to Toronto, Canada, and from there rode to the start of the trail in Tennessee. I then rode the TAT to Port Oreford in Oregon and from there to Vancouver, Canada to fly home. Covering a total of nearly 6,500 miles. I did it solo and without backup and to raise money for charity.
